It was noted about 2:45 a.m. Monday by a 911 caller and by Toms River Police Officer James Manolio, who noticed smoke as he was leaving the scene of the fire on Mount Everest Lane that happened before in the night, said Jillian Messina, media relations specialist for the Toms River Law enforcement Office.

Manolio saw large smoke and circled the neighborhood, obtaining the fire at the Mount Juliano Lane home, Messina stated. The occupants of the dwelling were being outside and risk-free when police arrived, she claimed.

Novak said there was substantial fire destruction to the home, and three vehicles in the driveway ended up ruined. The fireplace also destroyed the exterior wall, siding and home windows at 1829 Mount Juliano Lane, he said.
